Kamloops and Thompson Rivers University are looking forward to hosting the 2010 CIS Men’s Volleyball Nationals in March (12-14).
The Championships are being held at the Tournament Capital Center . It’s the first time that Kamloops has hosted a CIS Championship. The WolfPack will be joined by seven of the other top teams in Canada to vye for the National title.
Tournament passes will be $55.00 for adults and $35.00 for seniors and students.
To attend one session (day), passes will be $15.00 for adults with students and seniors being charged $10.00. That is aside from Championship Sunday (Mar 14). Tickets that day will be $22.00 for adults and $15.00 for seniors and students.
The championships will feature four quarter final sessions on Friday, two semi final sessions and two consolation side matches on the Saturday. The one session on Sunday (Championships) will see two placement matches followed by the bronze medal game and the gold medal game. The draw is still being finalized, but it is known that the WolfPack will play their first match on Friday March 12 th at 6 pm at the Tournament Capital Center.
Tickets for the CIS Championships will be on sale at the TRU WolfPack office at the Tournament Capital Center (2nd floor) during business hours (8:30 am to 430 pm). You could also reserve your ticket by calling (250) 377-6117 or emailing lread@tru.ca
There is also a special for companies to buy a VIP table. This includes four tournament passes, and exclusive rights to VIP priviledges including beverage and snack services and access to the VIP room. These are $300.00 and are available by contacting Peter Lys at peterlys@radionl.com
